Pray for Revive Campaign

This story that God is writing has been steeped in prayer. We started with Boiler Rooms at the beginning of 2025, to our Breakthrough Prayer campaign in the Fall of 2025, our Prayer Surge at the beginning of this year, and now our Prayer Walk Initiative. From now until May 31 we invite people to prayer walk the neighborhoods surrounding our church home.

While the staff and others have been hard at work preparing the physical space, let’s join in preparing the spiritual atmosphere for the community. If prayer walking is new to you or you live farther out, try to simply go once this month!

HOW IT WORKS

We've created 8 custom walking routes in the neighborhoods around our new church home. Routes range from about 1 to 2 miles and 25–45 minutes, so there's something for every schedule and fitness level. Some are great for families with kids; others have a bit more terrain.

Note: You can also choose your own adventure and walk a different path. The goal is not completing a particular route—the goal is to see and explore what God is doing, to receive His heart for the community, and to join with Him in His work through prayer.

You can do it solo, but we encourage you to do it with friends or family, especially if you’ve never gone on a prayer walk before. It’s easier to have your first prayer walk experience with others.

The heart of a prayer walk is simple:

 • LISTEN — Ask God, "What do you want to show me here?" Keep your eyes open and your heart attentive.

 • INTERCEDE — Pray for the people, households, and places you see.

 • GIVE THANKS — End your walk with gratitude for what God is already doing.

You can also interact with those you see — if it feels right, ask someone if they'd like prayer. Keep it brief and low-pressure. (The full guide has language for this and more ideas for what to pray along the way).

AFTER YOUR WALK

Please take 2 minutes to fill out our response form after you go. We want to track where our church family has been covering in prayer across the neighborhood — and celebrate together what God is doing!

JOIN IN ANYTIME

We believe something happens when the people of God walk the streets of their neighborhood with open eyes and prayerful hearts. You can walk any day, any time, on your own schedule.

We'd love for every one of us to experience this at least one time this month.

The Revive Campaign is more than a remodeling project – it is a season of preparation where we are laying a spiritual foundation for revival. You can also sign up for prayer updates via the form below, and use the five key areas for intercession to guide your prayers.

Key areas for intercession

  1. The presence of God to dwell in our new home. While it’s true that people can encounter God anywhere, there is also something mysterious, wonderful, and powerful about sacred places – spaces where Jesus has been continuously exalted in worship, where the Holy Spirit moves freely, and the glory of God is manifest. We long for the presence of God to dwell in our new home in a way that every person who walks in the doors is immediately touched by the Holy Spirit (Exodus 40:34).

  2. Unity between Epicentre West LA and Redeemer. God has blessed us with a great foundation of trust and love. As we move in and are meeting in the fellowship hall temporarily, we anticipate that there will be a lot of issues to iron out. Pray that the Holy Spirit increases mutual humility, love, and honor, preserving the unity of the faith (Ephesians 2:11-22, Colossians 3:12-14)

  3. Billy Ferdinand as he oversees the construction. God has called Billy, a longtime member of our church who is a contractor, to lead this project in the same way he appointed Bezalel to oversee construction of the tabernacle (Exodus 31, 35). This is a holy task, a spiritually weighty assignment. Join us in praying for spiritual protection for Billy and unity in our communications.

  4. Fundraising and renovation. Pray that we meet our fundraising goal or even exceed it. We worship a generous God who knows what we need (Exodus 36:3-4). Pray that construction goes smoothly and is completed safely, on time, and on budget.

  5. Pray for revival. We long to see revival in Palms and West LA. Our vision is to see “every person coming home to the Father’s love, being healed and transformed in the family of God by the power of the Holy Spirit, and awakening to a passion for Jesus and His purposes in the earth.” In the month of May we will launch a concentrated effort to prayer-walk the neighborhood.
