Our Move to a New Home

God has faithfully led Epicentre West LA into a new season of partnership and presence in our city. Starting May 17, 2026, we will begin worshipping at the church building next door, which has been stewarded by Redeemer Baptist Church for almost a century. This move is part of a long-term, covenant-based partnership rooted in prayer, shared mission, and co-stewardship.

This page will be your single source of truth throughout this transition—covering vision, logistics, dates, giving, and ways to get involved.

A Relational Covenant

God has brought together Epicentre and Redeemer at a sacred moment in both of our stories. We sense a shared calling to co-steward this space for worship, discipleship, and kingdom impact in West LA.

This partnership is rooted in trust, hospitality, and a long-term vision of thriving ministry on shared ground. While each retains its own leadership and community rhythms, we are building something greater together—united by love, mission, and the presence of God.

Revive Campaign

This giving campaign is our response to the wondrous works God has been doing among us. We are joining with God and the Redeemer community to restore the building and praying for revival. We believe that God is bringing us to even greater spiritual revival in our new church home, as we physically revive the space through renovations. Find more information and how to get involved via the button below!

Listening and Discernment

God has spoken clearly through the body during our Prayer Campaign and 24 hour prayer chain, as well as during our time of listening at the Town Hall. If you have questions, ideas, or words/pictures from prayer, we want to hear them. Use the form below to share with us.

What to Know

  • Epicentre remains its own church—same elders, staff, mission, and culture.

  • We have 24/7 access to our offices, ministry, and storage spaces.

  • Our services in the new space will begin at the Fellowship Hall as renovations in the Sanctuary are underway.

Ways to Help

From movers and ‘carpenters’ to intercessors, administrators, and more—we would be so blessed by your gifts as we move. If you’d like to volunteer, please fill out this form.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • No. We are not merging congregations or leadership. However, while Epicentre West LA and Redeemer each retains its own leadership and community rhythms, we are building something greater together—united by love, mission, and the presence of God. Redeemer’s service will be held at 8am before our service.

  • Redeemer is funding the foundational property infrastructure and Epicentre is responsible for the renovations specific to our ministry.

For the renovations Epicentre is responsible for, our elders have designated $245,000 from our church savings, leaving a fundraising goal of $350,000 to be raised from our community and partners.

We are committed to a debt-free vision and are not planning to take out any loans for the renovation. Our target cash-donation milestones are:

June: $125,000 to fund major electrical and AV infrastructure deposits.

July & August: $100,000 to cover ministry finishes like flooring and the baptismal pool.

Sept & Oct: $75,000 to finalize project closeout as we begin worshipping in the space.

Nov & Dec: $50,000 to fulfill remaining pledges and secure our post-project health.

  • A giving campaign helps us support this transition in a way that is both practical and purposeful. We are contributing some of our savings toward renovations, while also setting aside funds to prepare for the higher monthly costs of the new facility. We have also been given the freedom to imagine how the sanctuary and play areas can best serve our community. That makes this a meaningful opportunity to not only update the space, but to truly make it our own.

  • We would love your help! We expect to have a range of volunteer opportunities throughout the move, from packing and organizing to setup and getting the new space ready for use. Please sign up to help by filling out this Google form.

  • Please pray for wisdom, provision, and peace as we prepare for the move and plan for this next chapter. Pray for the renovations, for the financial resources needed not only for the transition but also for the ongoing facility costs, and for clarity as we shape the sanctuary and play areas into spaces that reflect our community and support ministry well. You can also pray for strength for everyone involved in the planning and logistics, and that this new space would be welcoming, joyful, and used in meaningful ways.
